CARROT FRIES

Healthy Crispy fries made from entirely Carrots.

This recipe can be made using the oven or an air fryer, its up to you.

I prefer making these in the oven as the oil doesn't soak up as much, and the honey tastes sweeter.

Carrot Fries Recipe

Ingredients

5-6 large carrots, sliced into chip shapes and boiled until soft

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped finely

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cornflour

Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preheat oven to 200 degrees

Pat the carrots dry with a tea towel

Using all the ingredients coat the carrots in a bowl until fully coated

Place them onto an oven tray and into the oven for 30-35 minutes making sure they are separate from one another, turn them half way.

*If making in the Air fryer, use a little less oil. The cooking time will be 15-18 minutes at 200 degrees.*
