BLACKBERRY CINNAMON OAT COOKIES
For this delicious recipe I handpicked my blackberries from a forest near by. The sweet berries mixed with the oats and spiced cinnamon make such a great combination it's almost impossible to resist. And they are also healthier than many other cookies, that's if you don't eat the whole batch...
Blackberry Cinnamon Oat Cookie Recipe
Ingredients

2 Ripe bananas

1 Cup rolled oats

1 tsp cinnamon powder
Ingredients for Blackberries

1 Tbsp Sugar

1 Cup Blackberries, washed
Method

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place blackberries in a medium bowl, sprinkle with granulated sugar and toss to coat then let them sit for a whole hour until the blackberries release their juices.

Drain blackberries and reserve the juice for future recipes (entirely up to you.)

In a bowl mash the bananas with a fork.

Add the rolled oats, blackberries,cinnamon and mix well.

Take spoonfuls of the mixture and shape into cookie shapes.(They won’t change their shape while baking, so make sure you shape them to your liking.)

Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.

Serve the cookies warm or completely cool for a crispier texture.
